The PrimeTime Sports Story
From a chance meeting in 2000 between two strangers, a unique PrimeTime Sports is a premier, sports-event management firm. In other words, a team of 11 full-time employees, along with hundreds of part-time and seasonal employees, handle the marketing, management, and support services necessary to run youth sports tournaments. More than 100 boys and girls basketball, football, and soccer tournaments, run by PrimeTime Sports, are held year-round in nearly a dozen states. Already, PrimeTime Sports is the leading provider of youth basketball tournaments in Texas and has established itself as the fastest growing youth basketball organization in the country.
Because David and Jason were familiar with sports events as coaches and players, they knew firsthand the tendency for youth tournaments to be poorly organized and managed. They also were aware of the challenges plaguing youth sports such as fund raising, budget difficulties, travel complicatedness, and more. At PrimeTime Sports, they aim to thwart those obstacles by offering well-run, comprehensive, and fun tournaments for kids, grades 3-12. Because PrimeTime Sports does not sponsor individual teams, there are no conflicting objectives in the management of events. The focus is to always provide quality tournaments complete with experienced officiating, great competition, and first-class facilities.
PrimeTime Sports is on an upward trajectory thanks in large part to the warm welcome teams, coaches, and families have extended. More than 580 teams in 16 divisions competed in PrimeTime Sports National Basketball Tournament last year. Meanwhile, year-round events offer the opportunity for teams to build their competitive schedule, while players garner more playing time. PrimeTime Sports is consistently offering new tournaments and events in more markets nationwide. Expanded offerings in football and soccer, are also underway, as well as future offerings in additional sports.
Management of events for others is a new and growing service for PrimeTime Sports. The basketball competition at the Texas Winter Games and the international basketball competition of the Global Games are two events now under management of PrimeTime Sports.
Whether it is the continued growth and success of the basketball programs, ventures into football, soccer, and other sports, or the management of programs or sports for other organizations, PrimeTime Sports is The Best Game in Town!
